I’m writing this guide for Ubuntu. As there are many other distributions, feel free to add distro-specific instructions that differ from the ubuntu-one. I’m gonna assume you have a fully functioning version of Ubuntu with the latest drivers installed. Recommended at least is a Nvidia-graphics card. Allthough ATI has seriously improved their linux-support lately, the drivers are still lacking compared to Nvidia-drivers.

Installing and configuring Wine.

Hi guys!

This is a guide made to help people un-officially install World Of Warcraft:Burning Crusade under Ubuntu Linux platform. I would like to make clear that Blizzard is unable to offer any Technical Support for Linux platforms! Please do not create threads/tickets requesting information/support regarding installation problems you might experience.

Installing the new expansion

Hey there!

If like many people who spam me with "how to" email you are looking for a way to install the new game. (this is aimed at the less mature gamers)

Trouble with disks

So, blizzard sent out the new game on DvD format, unlike they have done before. Which causes issues for alot of us. If you cannot find an install option after putting in the disk. You can right click explore the disk and use intall.exe.

Should that fail www.wow-europe.com > "account" ...

After finding i had black textures on, paladin, draenei and talbuk mounts. Faction flags and some of the outland mobs i posted on the wow-europe forums, and the wow-forums, as i play both to stay in contact with friends. After getting no reply in three weeks from a single blue poster i gave up and started messing around in prgram files, and just generaly googling "quick" fixes, and i found if you are suffering from the above this MAY work for you.
